So I have a zmacs and a ps100 hook up with 4 amp heads and 2 cabs. If I hook up my helix floor just as an effects pedal via 4 cable method going to the effects loop in the back of the PS 100 and I go and I switched different to different amps and different calves. Does that affect loop follow each cab and amp that I switch you know like if I go to amp three does the effects loop go to cab three and then if I hit cab two does the FX loop go to cab two.? Then my next question is is the pedals that you can purchase through fryette i’m confused because there’s two different pedals obviously one pedal is for the PS 100 and it’ll switch it from the two different channels that has and then there’s the other pedal on that hat has to do with the effects loop or whatever I’m just confused on that
I just purchased the Fryette ZMACS Impedance Matching Amp and Cab Selector , I am using it with the PS-100 I have the footswitch for the PS 100 to swith channels and turn effects on and off. When I activate the channel switch the channel switched but no change in volume, when I activate the effects swith there are no effects present. I did not see in the Zmac installation diagram that switch anywhere just the midi switch.
Hi mate affect Luke still doesn’t work so I don’t know what to tell you. I just kind of read through your post and I still can’t get it to work so I don’t know if it’s an internal thing I don’t know what’s going on but the effects loop does not work on my PS 100 and you can’t get anybody from Fryette to answer a phone or email because I’ve done both and I even post something on YouTube and they said to ask on the forums and still nothing. “Does that affect loop follow each cab and amp that I switch?” The FX loop does not switch independently because it is one fixed loop in the PS-100 but the input to it changes (when you switch amps) and the output from it changes (when you switch cabs).
As far as the FC-3B pedal goes, the “channel” button just switches between the red and the green channels on the PS-100 while the “effects” button switches the effects loop on or off.

Oh if I’m understanding your video correctly and you, so you need the pedal in order to turn the FX loop off and on? Also my set up is I have a fryette zmacs, fryette ps100 and a fryette cyclops. So if I go from Amp two and cab one do I have to use the foot switch to reengage the FX loop and then if I go from cab amp 4 to cab 1 I need the pedal to reengage the FX loop again? So, first of all, yes… you need a TRS latching switch or remote switch to turn the loop on and off HOWEVER, you already have the ability to accomplish this with just the ZMACS. On the ZMACS you can assign “Ext 1” to control the channel switching on the PS and “Ext 2” to control the effects loop. Just take the ZMACS remote-out and connect it to the PS’s footswitch jack. These functions can then be controlled manually from the front of the ZMACS or you could grab a FC-3B to utilize the “quick switch” function OR you could go even deeper with a MIDI controller.
As far as controlling when the loop is on- you can program things how you want them in each preset on the ZMACS. You get to choose when you turn on or turn off the loop when you store each preset. If you are just switching out different amp and cab combinations manually on the front of the ZMACS then the Ext 1 and Ext 2 settings won’t change unless you select them manually.

I bought the PS 100 foot switch from guitar center it works great I also ordered a foot switch from fryette for the zmacs I also have the foot switch for the cyclops too
