Seems backwards logically that the input jack that you have quick access to plug an instrument into (if you wanted to bypass your pedalboard or whatever) doesn’t override your more permanant hardlined connection in the rear.
Can the active jacks be re-soldered to do this without voiding any warranty?
If used in a rack system (use the back panel input), it’s in an application-specific rig, possibly on tour, and you want to hook everything up once, and it always works no matter what. Probably other reasons… what does it say in the warranty? It sounds like it might!
Didn’t know if you guys would provide instructions to end user to fix it so it overrides properly for most users applications or take care of the labor considering it seems like a design flaw that was missed before production
Front Input overrides the Rear on KHE and many other amp switchers so it just seems really backwards, like releasing a guitar pedal with center positive supply in 2026
