TRS 3-conductor speaker cable wiring?

I would like to make a TRS speaker cable for the ZMACS to use with the PS100 to facilitate bypass, as described here:

To switch the PS-100 with the V2, you’ll need a 3 conductor speaker cable that connects from the PS-100 speaker Out to the switched loop return. Next, set the PS-100 to Operate mode. You can now use the ZMAX LOOP button to switch the PS-100 between Operate and Bypass mode. Dave

Is there anything special/unusual required with this type of Speaker cable for this setup?

I’m assuming I can use any quality 4-Conductor Speaker cable and connect 3 of the conductors to the Tip, Ring and Sleeve of a 1/4" TRS on both sides and that’s it?

That’s about it. It should not be shielded and be minimum 18GA wire.

So can you pair a V1 and a V2 together? I’m asking because I have a V1 and think of getting another to pair for more amps and cabs
