Anyone ever have an issue with a PS-100 where you get a spitty/farty noise coming through the speakers? Seems to occur only when utilizing the effects loop (EQ, Delay, Reverb).

It’s not something I’ve encountered when using the Power Station, in fact, the FX loop has tonnes of headroom.
Did you try toggling the level hi/lo (front panel level and back panel FX level)? What about the ground loop switch?
The other thing is ground loops; these already tend to happen when using the FX loop. Try these steps here:
- Do not use the same power supply for pedals in front and also in the FX loop of the amp (ref)
- Do connect the rig to an extension cord that connects to a single wall socket/outlet.
- Do remove anything from the FX loop of the power station – this should break most loops – then re-add pedals one-by-one.

FX loops can be broken using an audio isolator.

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I did happen to catch that video. I didn’t have those symptoms going on exactly. It seemed as if my eq was feeding the problem in some way. I took your advice about using separate power supplies between front of amp & effects loop on the PS-100, and life is glorious, and so are these tones. Thank you!
