Hello!
I read in the manual that clicking the currently selected amp switch is supposed to mute the input. My unit is not muting when I try this. Is there a setting or sequence I am missing?
Best,
Shannon

Hey Shannon,
In mute mode, the LED for the selected amp will turn off. Is that happening?
Dave
Hi Dave,
The LED does not turn off when I click the selected amp again.

Try doing a Factory Reset.
The procedure for this is the last paragraph in manual page 8.

Hi Dave,
Tried factory reset a few times, but it does not fix the issue. Is there a certain amount of time Store and Ext-1 need to be held after re-connecting power? I held both down until the panel lights ran through the normal power up sequence. Didn’t see a difference from a simple power cycle.
Shannon
Hi Shannon,
That might need a factory reset.
Please email the following to support@fryette.com and we’ll get you an RMA to have a look.
Full Name
Phone
Return Shipping address
Unit serial number
Place and date of purchase.
Thanks,
Dave
Hi Dave,
Sounds good, I’ll send over the info. Thanks!
Best,
Shannon
Interesting! I have 2 mute switches programmed on my units and they work great But yes in theory if you just press the switch of the selected LED amp it should just turn off. It’s how I quickly mute them if I’m next to the unit and not with my controller.
