ZMACS 1 + POWER STATION PS-2 (Silent recording)

I have 4 tube amps connected to ZMACS 4x4 with Power Station PS-2 in the loop.
Can I use the amps in this setup WITHOUT a cabinet connected?
I would use line out from Power Station PS-2 going straight into my audio interface (Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen).
Is this a safe setup to use?
Can the PS-2 be turned OFF or it must be ON?
Thank you so much

Hi everyone

Is there anyone out there (especially from Fryette company) thant can help me with this?
I suppose the setup I have in mind should be safe to use, but I don’t want to rick damaging my gear, so asking here.

Best
Gregor

I am also interested in this question. I have 4 tube amps connected to the ZMACS with a PS-100 in the loop for attenuation. I only have 2 cabinets connect at the moment. If I want to silent record through the DI out on the PS-100 I just turn the PS-100 channel volume to zero. However, the PS-100 tubes are essentially on for no reason in this silent recording scenario.

I was wondering same as Gregor. Is it possible to have the PS-100 in the loop of the ZMACS but turned off. So the PS-100 is acting only as a variable load for the chosen amplifier (1-4) on the ZMACS and the DI signal is then being sent to an IR loader and then into a DAW.

Gregor, you probably already know this, but make sure you have an external IR loader or an IR in your DAW at the correct sampling rate for best results.
