Wiggling inputs and outputs

Silly question. I have noticed all of the inputs and outputs wiggle or give slightly anytime i plug or unplug any of the inputs and outputs on my LXII. Is this designed this way or are all mine just loose, and should i just try to tighten them? The unit works great. I just dont want to damage anything trying to tighten something that is as tight as it should be. I just have never seen any inputs or outputs move like this. Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I don’t know the proper name for the sockets we use, but the cylindrical shaft is held together by the nut. How much are they wiggling?!

Well they certainly are not tight, but they are not floppy loose either. If im able to take a video and upload it i will. Dont get me wrong, i dont care to try and tighten them . I just want to be sure im not going to cause more damage if something isnt right. I just have never seen connections move that much out of all the equipment that i have owned.

Well i tried uploading a video and it kept saying my file was to big. So i went ahead and gently tried to tighten them and they ar definitely on as far as they will go. So i think i will just leave well enough alone. Im not plugging and unplugging it all the time anyway. I feel like its probably just the way they are, and if its not normal it still works fine for now, so i guess ti.e will tell.

Yes. That’s probably the best thing to do.

For long videos upload to YouTube and link here.

There is intentionally a little play. That’s normal.
That way, if the jacks get yanked on, the jack will break and not deform the rear panel.

Nothing to worry about as the internal contacts are stable.

Ok. Thanks for letting me know.
