Hi I’m confused about how to use the 2 90 2 in mono? or if you cant use it mono ? If It can be used in mono do I use chanel a or chanel b input ? and then do I need a load on both outputs ? And if I can use one input for mono will both outputs work still ? There was something on the Internet about it but it was short and confusing , can explain how this works and what not to do also so I don’t damage it .sorry about all the questions I didn’t get a manual and the download manual is kinda vague about a few things . I’m trying to get used to the amp and figure out how to use it safely and what can and can’t be done . Thanks for any help again
Hi Rick,
The Two/Ninety/Two does not provide a bridge mono mode, but you can run both channels connected to separate cabs using the A/Mono input jack to drive both channels.
If only using one channel, use CH A and leave CH B on standby. No load is needed when the unused channel (in this case CH B) is on standby and/or the CH B volume is set to zero.

Ok I think I understand. If I use channel a input only and use channel a and channel b outputs to separate cabs that will use just input channel a and drive both outputs channel a and chanel b into separate cabs ?. And for one input and one output use just channel a input again but this time leave chanel b on standby and I’ll have one channel a input and one channel a output and no channel B output ? But if I use only channel a input only and don’t leave channel b on standby it will use both outputs to septate cabs . And the same using channel a input only but have channel b on standby and I’ll have one channel a input and one channel a output ? Is this correct ? Lol sorry about this is that correct or no ?
Also do I never use just channel b input only . Or is there use for using chanel b input only ? Thanks
If you want to use CH B only, just use Input B and Speaker Output B.
Leave CH A in standby.
Dave
Ok thank you I want to hook an a\b both switcher up to it and switch two different line ins with different FX and stuff and switch from chanel a then b then both . But I’m guessing that won’t work because you couldn’t leave chanel a on stand by when switching to b w
You could probably do that with an amp/cab switcher. That may be an overkill solution, but maybe not.
