What Impedance Settings for 1965 Fender Pro Reverb (All Original)?

I bought a PS-2A a few months ago, brand new from Guitar Center.

I want to use it with my 1965 Fender Pro Reverb, all original. I just want to make sure I set all the impedance settings correctly. I am having trouble finding info on this.

Additionally, is there an official or user-created “master list” of amplifier ohm / impedance settings? And/or a resource which will help me better understand/assess this, now and into the future? I feel clueless.

Thank you!

Hi Daniel, Thank you for contacting Fryette Amplification. Your Pro Reverb Amp runs at 4-ohms; hence the two 8-ohm speakers wired in parallel which creates a 4-ohm load.

The impedance setting you will use on the PS-2A is the 2/4 ohm, see diagram below.

I’m not aware of a “master list” of amp specs. I would just recommend that you Google search them on a case-by-case basis to obtain the correct information. There is a lot of good info online if you simply search for it. Cheers! Gil
