VERY Noisey PS-2A

The videos explain it all. Basically if I try to use the direct out or the send/return on my brand new PS-2A it’s incredibly noisey. I can’t use it as an FX loop for my amps and I can’t make captures on my Nano Cortex. It works great as a power amp and attenuator, but I need to use the loop and line out, which I can’t due to excess noise. I’ve trie the ground lift on the PS-2A, I’ve tried the ground lift on the Nano Cortex. I’ve tried multiple pedal power supplies for my board, different outlets, a voltage regulator, a different location entirely. The noise persists. I use a walrus audio power 15 primarily to power my board. Help? :frowning:

Here’s a link to videos showcasing the issue-

Two things can cause that:

  1. Ground loop. Even though the noise you are experiencing may be different than that in the video, it can be caused by the same issue. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pe_HCGWLAu0&t=34s&pp=ygUSZnJ5ZXR0ZSBzcXVlYWwgIyAy

  2. Signal cables to and from the pedalboard may be too close to a speaker or power cable. Try moving things arounds to power and speaker cables are routed away from instrument level cables.
