Using the amp in,...and using a preamp into line in

I have seen versions of this but not sure I got a yes or no or how.

I have been using the Freyette with a switcher for amps and cabs..and have an eclipse in the fx loop.

I bought a soldano sp-77 on a lark and thus want to use the freyette as the power amp. So how to do without a mess of changes?

  1. Is this what the cyclops is for?
  2. am I correct in understanding that the line in SP 77 will not be able to use the eclipse in the effects loop?

Yes exactly! The Cyclops will let you switch between a preamp (your SP77) and your amplifier while using the Power Station. Then I assume the speaker out of the Power Station is feeding the switcher?

thanks..there may be a twist with my kahayan switcher but i will hold thoughts until i wire it up friday thanks!
