Can I purchased the required tubes for my PS100 from FRYETTE AMPLIFICATION
It’s making a static noise when I turn it on and goes away after a few minutes. I tried cables and connection and everything is good there. It also stops when I put it on bypass so I figured I will try tubes next.

I put a set of Sovtek 6550WE Power Tubes - Matched Duet. Are these ok. The top where the vent is for tubes is super hot. No more crackling and sounds really good.

It is running really hot so I took the tubes out and will wait for the ones I purchase from Fryette. Thank you for your help

I returned them to sweet water . I don’t have a lot experience in this area , actually none so I didn’t know if I was going to screw up my PS100.
I am in Heathcare semi retired.
