Just today, my PS-100 went silent. I purchased it in February of 2023.
I let it cool down and tried again to no avail. It powers up, but nothing from either channel. I did not hear any pop, whistle or noise for that matter, just went silent. You faintly hear something barely coming out of my cabinet, but that’s about it.
I did try my 2 Friedman amps out without the PS-100 and they both work (loud af!) but they work. I pulled out the fuse and did not see any sign of something burnt, just that little line looking thing down the middle of it…other than that, I honestly don’t know what else to notice regarding the fuse. The tubes do light up. No smell of anything burning. Very strange.
I did send Freyette an email to their support email handle. Waiting to hear back.
