Silent Recording Setup with ZMacs4x4 and PS-100

Hello,

I am currently running a ZMACS 4x4 with a PS-100 in the switched attenuator loop. My setup includes four amplifier heads and four cabinets. I am also using the PS-100’s line out to feed my Quad Cortex for cabinet IRs. Everything lives in a studio rack so unplugging the speaker output is a bit of a pain due to it being on the rear side of the unit.

Could you please advise on the proper configuration to record silently—without any of the cabinets active—while maintaining the current signal flow?

Welcome to the forum, Matt!

The most practical way to do that is to turn the volume down on the PS-100.

There are probably other ways to do this, but probably require an accessory switch box. Let me think about that.
