Hi folks. Basic question (I think!). I want to connect from my amp head out to PS2 “Amp In”, NOT connect anything to “SPKR Out” and only use the XLR or 1/4" line out to go to a board. Is this safe? Better way to do it? My Mesa Badlander has CabClone but I’m finding it less than desirable to use so I’m thinking I could do this setup and go from one of the PS2 line outs to the board and not use CabClone at all. Info appreciated!

In general the PS-2A and the PS-100 won’t let you make mistakes.
When you connect to AMP IN your amp sees the reactive load inside the Power Station. And without the SPKR IN connected to the Power Station’s power amp, it will not turn on.
For low-power amps you don’t even need to have the power stations powered on, and it will still work
