Can anyone verify a working PSU replacement? I just bought a Pl-IR from GC and they sent me a universal power adapter with a 5.5x2.1 barrel but it’s pretty loose in the jack, anytime I move the PL-IR it moves enough to toggle power off and on. If anyone can point me to a known good adapter I would appreciate it.
Is this a new unit under warranty?
Unfortunately no, I purchased it used from Guitar Center.
That’s really annoying. I wonder if they did not package it with the correct supply. See if you can argue the point with them. I will also try and get you some information on the what supply the PL-IR ships with … standby…
Please post the power supply you have, the brick (labels) and the barrel.
They sent me a LiveWire essential 3v-12v 1200mA. It has 6 connectors, two of which are close are the 5.5x2.1 and 5.5x2.5. Both are still loose in the jack and and movement on the unit causes the power to flicker on and off or requre readjustment of the barrel.

This has been going on for almost a month now. I don’t mind buying the correct PSU, I just want to be able to use the full functionality of the PL-IR.
