I want my clean sound to be amplified by PS2, and the dirty sound to go through the reactance load attenuated.
I remember talking to support in 2018 and there is a trick where a stereo jack carries the signal into the Amp In (I think-my memory is fuzzy) on one channel, and a remote close/open contact switch on the other channel- giving me a toggler switch between Reamplication (Line In input) and Attenuater (Amp In input).
Anyone gone deep into this territory?

Please dig up the correspondence you had, and we can start from there. I don’t think you can use AMP IN and LINE IN at the same time, I think they are switched jack sockets. I wish I had my PS-2A with me, would be easy to check this.

I think this stereo input, where one channel carried the open/close switch signal, and the other channel carried the amp in signal, was done over the phone.
I remember it was not a published feature when I called over at Fryettes (I called this number (818) 980-2800 and had talked to some one there on this. BTW, I tried calling that number again and the line is not a working number).
When I made it work, I could activate the Attenuation on and off with a remote switch. I could hear the signal with or without it.
I remember my Twin Reverb clean sound signal got a little compression on the ‘off’ mode. So I abandoned this setup.
However, I want to see to use it since my landlord has complained about my amps being too loud.
On the side note, is it possible to reamp the Line in and feed it to the speaker with attenuation simultaneously?
I have done the above only with a Line out that went to another amp, but is there a way to attentuate while reamping?

Regarding the original question. I think you just need a Cyclops.
This let’s you switch a preamp/pedal (your line-level clean) and an amp (your dirty) using the Power Station. In all cases the output of the power station controls the level.

In the schematic block, the PS2 is between my line out of my GSP1101 modeller, and a real speaker cabinet. I want the PS2 to amplify the modeller, while powering the speaker cab with an attenuated output signal of variable volume. This way, I can saturate the 6LC tubes, but control the speaker volume without affecting this tube saturation.

I understand, so when using the modeler, you want to get tube power amp distortion but also have that be controllable. So self-attenuation mode only gets you halfway: it gives you the power amp distortion by only a line-level output. What you want would be that output to go to a speaker and have volume control. That’s not possible without a second power amp.
