I’d like to add my PS2A to an SKB rack which will also includes an AXE III and JMP-1…My questions are:
Do I need to leave extra blank space above and below the PS2A since the PS2A vents from the top and bottom or is a normal rack spacing safe for the PS2A?
Will the AXE III or any other rack device that I have positioned above or below it safe from the disappating heat from the PS2A?
Hello, The answer to your question does depend on the conditions that the rack will be subjected to as well as how hard you run the PS-2A. So yes, you can rack the components above and below the PS-2A with no problem, unless the rack ends up in higher ambient temperatures with out any additional airflow using an external fan of some sort. It also depends on how high of output volume you would be running the PS-2A. If all of the above mentioned conditions are kept within a reasonable range, then you’ll have no problems. Hope that helps. Cheers! Gil
