Go through this NO SOUND check list,

WON’T TURN ON Make sure AC cord is securely connected at both ends. Verify the power source with something you know works. Check the mains fuse, and replace if necessary. If you still have problems we can take it from there.

It sounds to be like cables are the the issue because the setup works in BYPASS. So there could be an issue with the PS-2A tube amp (or some other complication). But get to the bottom of the list first.
