Brand new PS-100, probably under 2 hours playing time on it, the all too common high pitched squeal, pop then nothing. I did send an email to support with their required information but haven’t heard back - hopefully I will soon.
FWIW - I opened the unit up - the tubes look clean but the internal fuse is blown. Fried. Dead.
Sorry to hear this. Yes, I think you are right, sadly. If you have not done so already, please do this and request new tubes and fuses. How can I make a replacement part request?
We hope to get you back up and running again very soon.
Hi Dan, I did do exactly as you suggested, on Saturday. I hoped to hear something from support today but I imagine you guys are slammed just coming off of the weekend. That said, for the couple of hours I was able to use my PS-100, I (and my neighbors) had already gotten very used to having it in my signal chain to be able to use my loud ass tube amps at a manageable volume, so I hope you guys hurry up LOL!!!
The tubes and fuses arrived today - I installed them and have spent a couple hours playing through the PS-100. So far so good!
Something else I noticed - when I originally connected and played through the PS-100, it sounded great but I was a little surprised with how much of a difference there was from the sound of the amp without the PS-100 connected.
With the new tubes, at least from when I can tell now, I’m not hearing the difference I did last week.
