I purchased a new PS-100 and when I turn it on, there is an internal pop. Then after it is turned on, there at crackles and pops that I am hearing during the first few minutes.
Seems odd. Is something wrong with the PS-100 I’ve purchased?
Doesn’t seem to be an expected behavior from all the YouTube posts about how great this device is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
And if there was an email vs a forum, I’d like that as well.
Couldn’t EASILY find one on the site, a HUGE red flag in owning this product.
It is normal for anything with tubes to make various sounds as they are warming up and cooling down. How are you turning on the unit? Is it power, wait for a bit and then switching it to operate?
We have a process we use here at Fryette. Sign into the forum, go to the FAQ section, walk through troubleshooting, post on the forum if you still have an issue, then if all of that doesn’t work, contact support. 99% of problems occur during set up and 99% of those are simple to solve from this site.
