Power Tube Plate Voltage

I just replaced my power tubes on my LXII. The original tubes were marked as having a plate current (PC) of 32. The replacement tubes I got are 26. The new tubes sound great and fixed a mismatch in channel volume I had. Does anyone know if a PC of 26 is okay for the LXII’s fixed bias? Anyone know what a safe PC range is for this amp?

The IP rating on the tube is the test current, meaning the plate current at whatever voltage the tubes were operating at during the matching process.

An acceptable Ip rating for the LXII is basically anything between 25 and 48mA.
Depending on the voltage your supplier used for their test, the tubes might typically run around 5mA cooler in the LXII than the rated Ip.
