Power Station PS-2A internal fuse blown on startup

Hi everybody, I hope you are doing well.
My brand new PS-2 blew its internal fuse after only maybe 10 hours of operation.
I switched it on (fully connected to an AC30 and the 2x12 Cab).
Through the ventilation grillI I could see the right 6L6 throw a gorgeous spark inside the tube.
Ok, so…the unit is still under warranty, BUT: the store I got it from wants to send it back for repair (from Austria to Germany to the US). I’m thinking if I send it off now I’m not gonna be able to use it for many of the upcoming gigs (which was exactly what I got it for in the first place) when it could just be a tube failure.
Is there something I could do to avoid having to send the PS2 back? Maybe even before popping in two new 6L6es and hoping they don’t fire up as well?
Thanks a lot and have a good day
Wolfgang
