so you have a GPDI/IR could you run it into the effects loop of the PS-2A and take advantage of the amps in the GPDI/IR?

You could probably do that, but running it in Add An Amp mode would probably work better.

Do you have an amp with a loop you can use with the PS-2A?

Not exactly. The PS-2A is actually at the post office I’m picking it up tomorrow.initially I will be running my Fractal FM9 and my Tone King Royalist preamp pedal into the PS-2A not necessarily at the same time. It will be a work in progress .
