My brain is exploding based on the possiblites of the preset manager for my live rig… with this i can perfectly fine-tune my live show based on songs BUT with always the same “sound-source”… ![]()
Hello,
I have a quick question about this amp (which I’ve ordered from my local dealer):
Will the MIDI connection to the footswitch use a 7- or 8-pin connector that supplies phantom power to the MIDI controller? (Like the Synergy or Soldano systems.)
It’s incredibly convenient and prevents ground loops caused by having the footswitch’s power supply plugged in on the other side of the room or stage…
Thanks!
Yes, it uses a 7-pin MIDI connector and supplies phantom power to the controller.

I’m realizing the functionality of Ultra-Lead II is going a very long way towards / achieving almost all that I asked for (and also other stuff!) in my dream amp proposal in a mobile format (floor or if not possible/safe - desktop module) - congratulations Fryette - Pittbull Ultra-Lead II looks amazing!
I understand there are different products in the works around your zero latency IR solution too.
The sag function of the clean channel - will it be able to sound like vintage amps with that engaged?
Will it do vintage sounding amps like Fender edge of break up tones?
If not, consider a unit for the edge of break up / vintage tones market as well (like described in my long proposal post). My wishes after seeing Ultra-Lead II - prompts updating to: multichannel preamp system / able to receive external preamps → Power Station (also able to make power tube distortion itself) + gp/di (or Ultra-Lead II internals with:) + zero latency IR - for direct signals with Power Station generated overdrive / clipping…

Vintage edge of breakup vibe:
Here’s a video of the UL II at Peach Guitars UK
Store owner John Priest playing.
There indeed is some nice top end going on there, a little too marshally in the mids for me I would say, but on the cleaner spots, the top end comes in, I love that!
Congratulations again - I love that you are developing all this, and the zero latency IRs have incredible potential - you should probably consider licensing it out to the broad market!
The “Marshally” mids is easily accounted for considering the Friedman slant 212 cab with our all time not favorite speaker, the Vintage 30. Peach didn’t have our cab in stock by the time Steve arrived there.
This amp has the sonic range and malleable personality that allows you to apply your own sonic signature using your preferred speaker, or any variety of speakers.
That will be apparent when the Andersons video goes live (should be any day now). They provided the requested Fatbottom Fane 412.

And you got all those EQ options as well of course, looking forward to more demos!
