No sound output from my Fryette PS2A

Dear Fryette support team,

I am writing to report an issue with my PS2A.
My axe-fx was in and I played like everyday but suddenly, there was no sound output at all from the unit.

Here are the details :

  • the power light turns on normally.
  • all cables and connections have been checked and are secure.
  • the issue persists regardless of the input source or speaker connected.
    Could you please advise on possible troubleshooting steps or the next course of action ?

Welcome to the forum, Eric.

Sorry to hear about the issue, You might have a bad power tube. If so, that may blow the internal fuse, which would cause the symptom you describe.

Here’s a tutorial video that shows how to replace the tubes and fuse.

If you’re not comfortable doing that, you may want to have it looked at locally or sent here.
