Hello - I’ve had this 2502 for a few years now, always worked just fine. Without warning, the “A” side provides no output. I retubed and rebiased to rule out a power tube, plate voltages looked fine on that end. Had only been using the “B” side with a 16 ohm cab for a good couple of months, recently added an 8 ohm 212 to the “A” side. Worked for a few days, now the A side doesn’t give any output. Any ideas here?
Hi @Midgod07
First thing would be to check for A-side fuse, is it blown? If not, resit the tubes, check for bad connections on the sockets. Move the impedance switch fully to the left and right a few times and then back to the impedance you need. Now check cables for A-side.
