Thanks for the debug info. This means the PS-100 power amp is not putting out any power. You have eliminated all cable issues (because it works in BYPASS) so this is a real issue with the PS-100.
Before touching the PS-100: disconnect the PS-100 from the wall and wait a few minutes for it to become cool and caps discharge. ![]()
Check the mains fuse on the back panel, did it blow? Replace it. See here for the fuses you need:
If it blows again, check the internal fuse and replace it.
If the internal fuse has blown you probably need to re-tube the PS-100.
- V1 = 12DW7/ECC832
- V2, V3 = 6550 Power tubes (Matched Pair).
FIrst you might want to try replacing the 12DW7 to see it the issue is the driver (if you don’t have a 12DW7 to hand you can test with a 12AX7 but never run the unit like this). If it comes to life then it was the driver. If not, it’s worth changing the power tubes.
