Hi Olivier, Apologies for the long delay in responding to you. Those tubes should work very well in your 2/90/2 amplifier. We can’t be entirely certain of various tube manufacturer’s consistency with power tubes these days so make sure that they do have a reasonable return policy should you encounter any issues with the tubes that you purchase. The preamp tubes tend to be more consistent so any decent ones that you choose will be just fine. Cheers! Gil

Gonna resurrect this thread… these are interesting times indeed (for all things, but in this regard I am referring to TUBES)…
I am assuming that the OP is located in Europe. Personally I am in Belgium and importing tubes from TAM would be at least another $100 on top of the price due to import taxes and “admin” fees.
Unfortunately, TAD like to match just THEIR tubes (generally, there are a few exceptions), which are probably some type of Shugang, so it is super slim pickings here. There are no real choices for Euro customers. Other places sell “matched pairs and quads” which I have had more problems with than not.
So, the best we got is a prayer that the TAD Chinese KT88’s will fit the bill.
Unless someone knows of some untapped resource? If so, please share!!!
