I figured this would be the best place to ask since Fryette fans know how to build a rig better than anybody. I want to hook this Syn 1 module dock up to both the PS-100 and The Kraken. I want to be able to switch between the two power amps. I’m thinking about going 3 cable method into the Kraken and using the “main out” from the Syn 1 into the Line in of the PS-100. I’m only using the PS-100 as a power amp. The Kraken is not hooked up to the PS-100. Would this work? Or am I gonna set the building on fire by doing this?

Could you please xpand a little more about your proposed routing? Not sue what you mean by “3 cable method”.
I think you’re saying you want the Syn 1 main ou to go to either the PS-100 Line In or the Kraken FX return, but need some clarification.

Yes I want the Main out from Syn-1 to go to the PS-100 Line in.
As for the 3 cable method, it is similar to the way the GPDI/IR has a “to amp return/from fx send” connection with the addition of “to amp input” for the third cable. This 3 cable connection would essentially make the Synergy a third, foot switchable channel on the Kraken. I have attached a diagram of this 3 cable method, along with what I want to do with the PS-100.
What I’m trying to accomplish here is having two power amp options for the Synergy, without having to unhook everything whenever I want to switch power amps.

I don’t see any reason why that wouldn’t work. Heck. Run the DI output to your interface and have that go out to your monitors and now you have three sources of amplification. Lol
