For PS users at home can we get a small version maybe 1 watt or 5 watts ? I just use my ps2 at home dont need 50 watts - maybe 12 ax7 tubes used as power tubes? Just asking don’t hate me - love my ps2
Hi Jamme61 and welcome to the forum!
I love it when community throws out idea – no hate from me
I’ll make sure Steve sees this and it might get added to the giant white board who knows…
I think you can hook up the GPDI-IR 1 watt power amp to the PS via the effects loop ?
There is probably more than one way hook up a amp loaded down on the PS into the GPDI-IR ???
This would give you a 1 watt amp…and a few other options.
Didn’t realize that had a 1 watt power amp in there. Maybe that little power amp could be used- is it tube driven? I should have mentioned no class D amps yuck. I was looking for a small mini PS mini for home use - I think I’m in the minority here - like I said I have the 50 and love it but seems like a waste to use a 50 watt amp to attenuate my 50 watt Marshall down to low sounds in my basement. My 5 watt tube amp is more then enough volume - but that’s me so who knows- just spit ball-in here. Thanks for the feedback
Yes it is a tube amp.
