When I plug an amp into the power station, I can use the line out to go to an IR pedal, which I then blend with the mic on the cab.
But when I connect a preamp to the line in, there is no signal at the line out to do the same.
Why is this?

Hi Dan,
The line out is tapped directly from the reactive load. The line in is after that circuit. There will be a diagram below this. If you are not using the effects loop, you could use the effects send as an alternate “line out”. As long as nothing is plugged into the effects return, the signal continues on to the power amplification section.
