ISP Desimator+ZMACS

Hi.
I have ZMACS and 4 high gain amps.
So I need do use A noise gate in every fx loop amp because high gain amps are very noisy.
I have no idea how to solve next problem.
In KHE I just connect my ISP Decimaror G Rack in fx KHE and all my amps are silent.
But what can I do with ZMACS?
Cheers,
Paul

Hi @PaulSmith and welcome to the forum!

ZMAC does not have an FX loop, but it does have an attenuation loop. So if you have a Power Station, you could add the noise gate to the FX loop of that, this way it would apply to all your amps.

See the blue lines with FX pedals, it would go there,

Thanks a lot for your answer.
It doesn’t work.
I don’t use fx of ps 100.
Terrible squeal starts and nothing can’t stop it.
I couldn’t find the way to solve it.

Cheers,
Paul

Hi Paul,

Take a look at this,

Basically when you connect more than one amp you can very easily great ground loops which create this squeal.

The away around it depends on the which loop needs breaking. But probably you need an audio isolator in FX loop too, so the power of pedal and audio signal is isolated from the everything else.

Thanks a lot!!!
It works!!!
Great.
It’s so convenient without so many cables!

Cheers,
Paul

Hi Paul,

That was quick! You already had one?

Glad you are up and running.
