GPDI/IR to an external amp/IR signal

Hi, i have a question regarding connecting the GPDI/IR to the effects loop of an external power amp. Is the balanced IR output using also the preamp of the external amp, when the GPDI/Ir is turned on the ext amp mode? If so , is it also going through the GPDI/IR power amp? Thanks in advance ,

And yes!

The IR loader will always be fed by: Preamp → 1W Power Amp → IR/Analog Cab. Sim → Outputs (balanced/unbalanced). This can be your amp’s preamp when using External Amp mode.
