Hello all
In case of wanting to mix the IR Loader output and the Analog Cab output together for greater tonal variation ..
Do you have a value in samples or ms for the latency added by the IR Loader ?
Kind regards Nils

Hi Nils,
It’s around a 1ms.
Cheers

if you’re trying to avoid phase issues then you need to pay attention not only to the intrinsic latency of the signal processor, but also the delay introduced by the IR file itself, which can vary from IR to IR. your best bet (unless you have some kind of auto alignment software) is to experiment with different values to find the delay which sounds the best.
my personal findings in trying to combine multiple “close” sources from one guitar signal (whether it be multiple mics, combining IR plus mics, combining analog cab sims, etc.) is that you really need a subsample resolution delay in order to get a good result, at least for my tastes. differences of even 1/2 or 1/4 sample can make a significant difference.
