Our email conversations keep going dead so I’m moving it here, still holding out hope that someone is able and willing to assist?

received GP/DI 230v version ~ july 2016
power transformer melts feb 2018
shipped back for replacement transformer june 2018
variac set at 220v used from this moment onwards
fan stops spinning intermittently
new fan installed
power transformer melts 5 minutes after successfully installing new fan, june 2019
shipped back for replacement transformer, oct 2019
power transformer melts jan 2021
you say you’re working on a new power supply march 2021
on july 2024 Dave offered to replace with a 120v transformer and I’d use an external step down. I said yes lets make it happen, then silence again.

Please help! It’s way too nice to go in the landfill but it’s only worked for 2/9 years that I’ve owned it.
