I like the tc sentry as fair as noise gates go. It has a pretty natural engage/disengage if you set it up right. stephen is right, any noise gate is going to affect feel.
I would be aware of the possibility of a ground loop if using the four cable method with a noise gate in the loop of the power station. this is a solvable condition if you use an isolation transformer to break the ground loop (2nd video: What is mystery squeal?)
one other option is if you’re only concerned about reducing the hiss in between songs and don’t need an automatic noise gate, you could use something like a passive volume pedal in the effects loop and engage that manually when you’re not playing.
