some Signal is leaking into fx send when loop is off. so some fx always on. how do I get this this rectified. I purchased unit last year. has seen very little use. and never left my home.

So just a little bit about your setup would be useful. Are you playing into a DAW or into a speaker, and at what volume level? There could be a few things going on. The transformer vibrates with the same frequency as the notes being played, so sometimes this is confused for bleed when at very low volumes. OK so on to your specific question: you turn the FX loop off and hear a bit of bleed. How bad is this problem? Can you send an audio? Normally the level of signal bleed with the power station is very insignificant, meaning that when actually playing it makes no difference, in my experience anyway. But it will be useful to get more info. from you and hear what is going on.
I’m playing into a speaker. The effect loop goes into an Evaentide. which splits back into the power station on one side and another amplifier on the other side. I hear about 20% of the stereo effects when the loop is turned off. I don’t believe this problem existed until a few days ago.
This is what’s happening. When affects loop is turned off. The return closes, but the send does not.

I see, so the FX send from the PS-100 is always sending a signal; just the return path is cut when turning on/off the FX loop? That seems likely, but unfortunately it seems to be the way the PS-100 is designed. Yes, I just checked a few things, and indeed the FX relay is on the return only. So anything downstream of the PS-100 FX Return does not have FX applied. But I understand for your application you would prefer send to be bypassed.
Thanks for clearing that up. The return does have a glitch in it for a few days. It was allowing Signal to pass through the return, but I think at a lower signal rate. And now currently it’s acting like it should.
So for me, I suppose I’ll just be leaving the loop on and turning the effects device on and off. Not ideal, but it works well enough.

OK glad this cleared up. Let’s monitor it. If the FX loop needs servicing, we can either issue an RMA and ship the unit back to Fryette or work with local repair techs. If you have a reputable tech you’d like use we can work with them too. Just let us know when needed.
