FX Loop “Hi” button setting issue

Hello,

So I’m having an issue with my Fryette PS-2 FX Loop, specifically the “Hi” setting in the FX loop level button setting. When I have the that button set to “Hi” and I’m playing any amp with the power section at lower intensity it sounds great. However when I crank up the power section of the main amp I’m using (Peavey 5150) the sound coming out of the fryette starts to crap out. When I flip the button to “Lo” is sounds normal and great. This only happens with the “Hi” setting on the button. Problem has been confirmed with multiple amps and I’ve identified that it only happens when the “Hi” button is engaged and the main amplifier being used is cranked up.

What can be happening here?

Problem resolved with customer directly.

Setting the loop level to HI is overdriving one or more of the pedals in the loop.

Yes, thank so much for the email reply! After our interaction I went back to the pedal board and removed a new pedal I had just added to the board before the issue strarted and when I removed the pedal the issue disappeared . The pedal was a JHS Flight Delay BTW
