Fryette 2/50/2 powers on but no sound on either channel

Hello,

My 2/50/2 is producing no sound on either channel.

Update: Just realised both fuses are blown.

I was testing my new 2/50/2 with the following rig:

guitar → preamp → 2/50/2 → (amp in) powerstation (line out) → ir loader → interface

Using “use first” output and everything matched at 8 ohms.

I was using only channel A and left channel B on standby and its volume all the way off (as it’s not loaded/plugged into anything) and everything worked fine for 5-10 mins of playing.
I then turned everything off and just added an fx pedal after the ir loader. did not touch any other cable. When I turned everything on again, I lost signal on the channel A.

Then I turned everything off, moved the cables to channel B on 2/50/2 and tested again and the signal was there.

Once I got a singal confirmed at Channel B, to further diagnose what went wrong with channel A, I unplugged everything and tried a simpler rig:

guitar → preamp → 2/50/2 → cab

and with the above rig now I lost output on both channels. To confirm, I replaced 2/50/2 with a Mesa Boogie 20/20 power amp, and I have sound on this simpler rig.

Have I somehow destroyed my 2/50/2? It’s turning on, fan is on, all tubes light up, but just no sound on either channel. There was no smoke or smell from 2/50/2 on either times I lost signal on channels.

How can I diagnose what the issue may be?

I am in the UK and my 2/50/2 is rated for 230V, but I know my wall voltage can go up to 247V at times. Could this be the issue?

Thanks and have a happy new year.

Quick update. Turns out both front-panel fuses are blown. I never tried taking the volume knob over 1/3 way up. Does this indicate an issue with the wall voltage being too high?
