in the manual of the D2Plus is this written:
EFFECTS LOOP SWITCH – Engages the Effects loop. This switch is disengaged when the supplied footswitch is connected.
Could there be a hack for the scenario if i want to switch less/more externally and having a gate in the effects loop which is always active…
I played one on the Guitar Summit 2025 and it was f+++++++ amazing!!!

The rear panel switch is disengaged when you plug a footswitch in. Meaning that you can engage the effects loop with the footswitch. Are you trying to just use a single footswitch instead of a dual footswitch?

thanks for chiming in. YEAH, so you mean a single foot switch will not override or disable the engagement of the effects loop button on the amp…
As long as i don’t destroy sth i could try sth like this here.
My scenario would be using the less/more function switchable external and having the loop always active via the button on the back engaged of the amp b/c my band mates are complaining “noise” b/c we are playing with in-ears now.
My take is there is no “noise” with my CLX or Driftwood but i´m under pressure now LOL… and i want to check before consider buying the beast.
It was a spectacular physical experiance playing the amp in this prepared room. Steve will tell you.
