Crackling sound

Hi, I noticed that when I tun the PS2A on, the amp makes a crackling sound every few seconds to minutes. Not consistent but comes and goes.

I know it’s not my amp as the amp is not powered on nor is it my pedal board as it is connected directly to the amp.

What is causing the noise and how do I remedy this? New Tubes?

Welcome to the forum,

If the crackling sound is a faint intermittent frying sound that fades after warmup, it’s likely coming from the power tubes. Replacing them will usually get rid of the noise.
