Connecting a combo amp to the PS-2A

In the manual it says to use a female to female 1/4" adapter to connect my Twin reverb’s speakers to the PS-2A. After Looking online quite a bit there don’t seem to be many options for a high quality SPEAKER CABLE coupler. There seem to be plenty of cheap ones that are meant for instrument cables. The last thing I want to damage any of my gear. What type of coupler does Fryette suggest we use? My amp is 80W. Thank you.

I have this type and like it, it’s a mono, never had any problems,

I had a vintage amp once and because I had the parts and a solder iron, I put two neutrik jack sockets on the end of speaker cable. Looked ridiculous, but if you trust your own soldering then that’s a good option .

But it does not state power handling. The connection will be rated I am just unsure of the internal wiring. However it seems you could open it and wire that up.
