So if I use the PL-IR with headphones only I have to be connected with the powercord, right! The manual isn’t super clear on this but when useing heaphones it only goes trough the IR loader? Thx!

Yes that’s right. The headphone output has the IR applied to the signal so you will need the unit powered for that.

I don’t think so, I think the only way to access that is with the analog out circuits. Sorry, I can’t be too sure because I don’t have one, maybe someone that does have a PL-IR can chime in?
Had another look at the manual and found a pretty clear discription how to send analog cab to headphones if in mono you can use the left channel to get sound to both left and right headphone.
