Channel B louder than A

Hey, i have the syn5050 and i find that channel b is louder, is there an internal trim pot or maybe an idea as to why one channel is louder than the other? it’s not by a lot but it is noticeable.

Hello, Apologies for the long delay in responding to your question. Both channels would need to be receiving the exact same input signal, and be set to the same impedance. If the channel volume controls are set very low, the variance in the potentiometer’s tolerance compared to one another could explain a slight difference in volumes when simply matching the control’s physical settings. This difference would most likely not be noticeable if the volume controls were set at a higher level. Hope that helps. Gil

hey thanks for the reply, i did notice it happened when i was trying things out at home and it wasn’t noticeable once at full volume, it was happening with every preamp i tried, syn2, randall rm4, engl e530, so i was going a bit crazy. also it turns out my 2 vintage 30s in the cab also sound slightly different too.
