Can you use a pedal board between your guitar and amp like normal

Just bought the PS-100. I am very new to the guitar world. Can you go from your guitar to a pedal board and then your amp? From there into the PS 100 using speaker wire from the speaker jack into the amp input on the PS100. Then from speaker out of the PS100 into the speaker using female to female ts connector. My amp is a Marshall 1974X with 15 ohm speaker.
