I connected the PS-2A Power Station to my audio interface (Focusrite Scarlett) via XLR cable (balanced signal), but there are also condenser microphones connected that require phantom power to be turned on. However, the audio interface has only one ON/OFF switch for phantom power, and when it’s activated, it sends power to all inputs, including the PS-2A power station.
Can this damage the Power Station PS-2A?
Do I absolutely need to keep the phantom power (+48V) turned off?
Thanks.
Hello and welcome to the Fryette Forum! The phantom power being active in the connection to the PS-2A will not harm or affect the PS-2A’s function in any way so you are good to go. Cheers! Gil

Gil’s right it’s a isolated output so no DC connection! Phantom power is very low power too.
