I just got a Peavey Musician 400 series.
It’s 2 ohm 210w. Using it with a Mesa Boogie 8ohm cab. Ran it through the Fryette PS100.
I’ve uploaded pictures so you can see the settings etc. I know PS100 is max 200w but I figured 210 should be safe since I won’t be pushing it max.
After a while of playing it started smelling burned. I turned it all off. The smell seems to come from the Fryette(from under the fan section). The Fryette was extremely hot.
Any idea what caused this and what I should do? Everything sounded fantastic before the smell appeared so I’m hoping I can use the Fryette with it. If not, do you have any other suggestions more compatible with the Peavey Musician? Thank you and best regards. Christian Wibe
