Boost / Ext amp pedal Boss FS6

I have a Boss FS6 with a TRS cable coming out of the footswitch jack and I’m able to get the external amp switching on and off but not the boost.
This is most likely user error on my part as I’m just getting everything wired up! The feel/response is incredible so I’m curious what other people have found as pedal solution.

Turns out it was a brand new TRS cable that was the issue so the Boss FS6 works fine. :person_facepalming:t4::sweat_smile:
