I’m itching for a real PIttbull amp now that I’ve grown to love the sound of that mode on the GPDI / IR. What’s the best, most developed version that is widely available? For context my use cases would be rehearsals with a mostly instrumental prog trio, and occasional gigging. I’d also occasionally use it for Blues gigs.
Fryette doesn’t have a current production Pittbull voice compact amp to recommend at the moment.
Stay tuned…

In my experience, the best sounding ones (only avail on the used market) are the Pittbull 50/12 112 or 212 combos (specifically with the EL34 tubes). I also really liked the Memphis I tried (EL84). There are also other EL84 versions (Super 30, 45, and 50/12 w EL84s) out there as well, but I’m not as familiar. I believe there are also a couple unicorn Deliverance 212 combos in existence, but very few.
Ok thank you! I would love to hold out for the new version, I hope it’s coming!
Sounds like the combo mentioned in the Malcontents might be being developed.
Yesterday I was using the GPDI-IR as add a channel on a Memphis 1x12 combo. All three voices on the GPDI-IR including the Pittbull definitely are voiced differently than the channels on the Memphis.
